How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your account and all associated data directly from the app. Follow these steps:
- Open the US Passport Photo app
- Go to Settings (gear icon in the bottom navigation)
- Tap Account
- Scroll down to the Danger Zone section
- Tap Delete My Data
- Confirm the deletion in the dialog
What Gets Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your account — Firebase Authentication profile and credentials
- Your photos — All photo metadata stored in our database
- Cloud images — Any photos uploaded to cloud storage
- User preferences — Export history, settings, and cached data
What Is NOT Deleted
- Active subscriptions — If you have a Pro subscription, it remains active until it expires. You must cancel it separately through the Google Play Store or Apple App Store.
- Photos saved to your device— Any photos you exported to your phone's gallery remain on your device. We cannot access or delete files on your phone.
- Anonymized analytics — Aggregated, non-identifying usage statistics (e.g., feature usage counts) are retained for product improvement.
Deletion Timeline
Account deletion is processed immediately. Your data is removed from our systems within seconds of confirmation. There is no recovery period — this action cannot be undone.
Anonymous Users
If you are using the app without signing in, you can still delete all local data by following the same steps above. This clears your photo history and preferences from the app.
Need Help?
If you are unable to delete your account through the app (e.g., you no longer have access to the device), contact us and we will process the deletion manually:
